I am a PhD-student in mathematics education. My research project is about how teachers can promote student-to-student interaction in upper secondary mathematics classrooms. By using educational design research, the focus is on how teachers and students together can create an environment where students instead of doing individual work in textbooks, interact with the teacher and each other to develop their communication and reasoning abilities in mathematics. Special attention is paid to processes on listening and asking. I also work with research and school improvement at Pedagogisk Inspiration in Malmö Stad.
